Twitter is attempting to make some of the services it now makes available to everyone only for Blue members in the wake of Elon Musk’s acquisition. It appears that DM messaging will be one of them.

Twitter, a well-known microblogging service, keeps focusing on the Blue membership. Twitter is presently working on a new feature that would restrict access to several functions that are now free. Recently, Twitter curtailed functionality for users who did not pay for the Blue service. Users who do not pay fees in accordance with the set amounts will have their number of DM messages limited.

Daily Restriction Of 500 Messages :

As per the latest news, users who are not Blue subscribers will have a daily DM message cap.

According to reports, the firm will cap the amount of DMs at 30, down from the present cap of 500 DM per day for free users. The firm seems to be trying to get users to pay for the platform’s premium membership service, Twitter Blue, which provides extra capabilities, with this move.

Undoing and editing tweets, composing lengthier tweets, putting tweets to the top of the profile, and accessing some special material are all features offered to Twitter Blue members. It’s interesting to note that Twitter hasn’t formally declared this change, which lowers the number of DMs available to free users. So it’s possible that this functionality is now being tested.

On June 07th 2023, Twitter has given one hour time for its Blue users to edit their tweets after hitting the Tweet button which was 30 minutes earlier. Recently, twitter has announced that Blue subscribers “now have up to 1 hour to edit their Tweets.”

Elon Musk did however, recently disclose that he is working on an upgrade that will restrict the DM sending ability to only those who follow the sender. Although it is not yet known when these modifications will be accessible, you can be confident that we will keep you informed here with any new information.
